Escentric Molecules fragrances
Geza Schön, a rebel in the perfume industry and one of the most creative noses, wrote fragrance history with his Escentric Molecules fragrance series. Within a very short time Molecule 01 advanced to the cult fragrance of today. Molecule Iso E Super takes up the idea of pheromones, but without being one itself.
In founding his own brand, the Berliner wanted to provoke and disenchant fragrances. His creations are surprising, beguiling, confusing: fragrances of an unusual presence that break with learned habits of scent and smell. They follow neither market nor myth, but focus on the substance and its effect.
For Escentric Molecules, he creates each fragrance in two versions. The Molecule version is based on a single synthetic fragrance molecule: a revolutionary use of fragrances, a departure from the classic fragrance pyramid with head, heart and base - and at the same time a tribute to modern synthetic perfumery. The Escentric version of a fragrance lets Schön olfactorily revolve around the same molecule; he uses it in unusually high concentrations and lets it be accompanied by refined minimalist compositions.
