Fabian Lliguin, a well-known New York hairstylist, visited the Amazon as an environmentalist. While there, he noticed women who all had fantastically long and shiny hair. Their secret was Rahua Oil, which they relied on to nourish their skin and hair.

In 2008, he and his wife founded Rahua Brand. They built on the wisdom of these legendary indigenous people to formulate innovative, plant-based products designed to heal, nourish, beautify and transform. At the same time, they wanted to do their part to help preserve the Amazon.

Today, the ingredients are sustainably grown and sourced in partnership with indigenous families. They are traditionally processed by hand.
