To mark the 150th anniversary of Gitana—a family tradition of racing yachts founded in 1876—Caron decided to celebrate this success story with “Pour Un Homme de Caron.” On the iconic bottle of CARON’s “Pour Un Homme,” the motif designed by artists Florian and Michaël Quistrebert for the “Gitana 18” trimaran unfolds in a 360-degree design: a grid of dots forming vibrant lines of the utmost precision. The label, made from recycled carbon derived from the trimaran’s production scraps, embodies this connection in the material itself. At the heart of the fragrance lies the original formula of CARON’s “Pour Un Homme” from 1934: lavender retains its aromatic power, and vanilla its enveloping depth. A collaboration driven by the same pioneering spirit: the fragrance and the boat are no longer separate entities, but two expressions of the same creative impulse.
