Inspired by the memory of the very special scent of his mother’s lipstick when she kissed him, Ralf Schwieger created Lipstick Rose. This fragrance, which is wonderfully nostalgic yet infused with a modern touch of Hollywood glamour, possesses the alluring charm of a lipstick-kissed smile scented with rose, violet, and candy. It embodies a fascinating woman—half Gilda, half sophisticated socialite. The Perfumer:
From his childhood, Germany-born Ralph Schwieger cherishes memories of the scent of forests, moss, and wood. A trained chemist, he joined Roure Bertrand Dupont at the age of 30. His technical skills, already well-developed at the time, enabled him to translate his ideas into fragrance compositions. He describes his craft as a “game of construction,” which he approaches half intellectually, half intuitively. After a mentally demanding conceptual phase, a lengthy phase of sensory exploration begins. His highly structured signature style and his desire to create perfumes that stand out from the crowd lend Schwieger’s work a very personal touch.
