The top note opens with an accord of Osmanthus Absolute, the Chinese flower with a leathery, animalic note. Essences of saffron round off this exciting first impression. The heart surprises with enveloping milk and the warmth of vanilla: Jungle Essence™. The base follows the original 'Spanish Leather' fragrance by J. F. Schwarzlose Söhne from 1921. The combination of frankincense and Japanese storax resins gives the fragrance a primal character, evoking associations with the decadent world of Berlin, from which it is difficult to escape. Leder 6 is a modern interpretation of the historic Schwarzlose fragrance 'Spanish Leather,' reinvented as an oriental leather scent.
