The Perfumer:
After studying political science, Pierre Bourdon changed course and began training at the Roure Bertrand Dupont perfumery school in Grasse. He subsequently became the sole apprentice of the famous perfumer Edmond Roudnitska. He began his professional career in the late 1970s at Roure in Paris. In the 1980s, he ushered in a revolutionary new fragrance trend with his men’s fragrance “Cool Water” for Davidoff. Today, Bourdon is considered one of the most innovative perfumers of his generation.
