The FLOWER OF IMMORTALITY, the flower of immortality, originates from the Chinese folktale of the Peach Blossom Spring. The story goes that a fisherman from Wu Ling got lost on a river trip and unexpectedly found himself rowing along a forest of peach trees. He decided to explore it until he finally reached the source of the river at the very edge of the forest. There he discovered a haven of bliss, where people lived far from civilization. A utopian world from which no one has yet returned.

For Kilian, FLOWER OF IMMORTALITY is first and foremost a fragrant homage to the peach blossom and its enormous symbolic power in China. The pink petals, which unfold in the middle of winter, are said to have the power to captivate the human soul and make it immortal.

FLOWER OF IMMORTALITY was composed as a haven of bliss, a stroll through a lost garden, along the river where fragrant peach blossoms promise eternal hospitality. FLOWER OF IMMORTALITY reveals the sweet and refreshing scent of white peach, interwoven with a perfect synthesis of carrot and orris root. A radiant hint of blackcurrant gives way to exquisite Crystal roses from Grasse, softened by tonka beans and sun-dried vanilla pods.
