(Eau de Parfum)
Complex, vibrant, self-assured, uninhibitedly erotic, and captivatingly audacious – a perfume like Berlin itself. ETRANGO, the 11th fragrance from Schwarzlose Berlin, opens a kaleidoscope for all the senses and calls out with every nuance: Step into the variety show of fantasy. A place where, in one moment, patchouli, tree moss, and sensually charged cypriol dance through the underground. Where, in the next instant, elegant Damask roses and Arabian jasmine lure you into the light of a multifaceted metropolitan atmosphere. Where aromas oscillate between seduction and delicacy, inspiring the imagination 24/7. The imaginative word ETRANGO contains the French "étrange" (foreign, unknown) as well as the English word "strange" (unusual, odd); the name also alludes to tango. ETRANGO invites you to a dance of metropolitan molecules, awakens curiosity for the unknown, and leaves the ordinary behind. With ETRANGO, the perfume manufacturer J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin is writing a new chapter in its history. Launched in 1929, the first ETRANGO, with its orange-gold cityscape on the glass bottle, was interpreted as a "fantasy fragrance": sophisticated, innovative, powerful, and long-lasting. In his contemporary adaptation of the bottle design, Lutz Herrmann visually continues this thread of character, referencing the iconic design language as a simultaneously confident, elegant, and timelessly urban presence in the still lifes, lettering, and design of the 100 ml bottle.
