(Eau de Parfum)
Black Phantom is a blend of coffee notes and the dark shadow of a pirate galleon.
When coffee is traditionally drunk, it is black as night, hot as hell, and sweet as love. Some say the word "coffee" derives from the Arabic word for "darkness." What a fitting description for this spooky pirate treasure in the form of a gourmand perfume by Kilian Hennessy, who says: If it's dirty, kinky, cheeky, messy, or just plain wrong, I want it.
Kilian Hennessy worked with Sidonie Lancesseur to create an Irish coffee with a twist, replacing the traditional whiskey with the pirate's liqueur: rum.
Black Phantom opens with strong coffee and Caribbean rum. The aromatic bitterness of the coffee is enhanced by the earthy warmth of almonds and Javanese vetiver. The intoxicating sweetness of the rum is reflected in the luscious scent of sugarcane at the base of the fragrance, blended with dark-scented, creamy sandalwood. The result is sheer, sumptuous sensuality for those who live for pleasure.
