A tribute to Azemmour, one of the oldest cities in the Kingdom of Morocco, a site of Muslim and Jewish pilgrimage, a memory of his parents’ orange grove, of horseback rides through these lands stretching along the Oum Er R’bia River to the sea. The fragrance unfolds in the golden light of this Atlantic coast: a zesty citrus scent, dominated by the peel and pulp of the orange, framed by clementine, mandarin, grapefruit, and lemon. Coriander, cumin, black pepper, and pink peppercorns intensify this explosion of flavor. Blackcurrant and galbanum nestle it within the dark green of the leaves. Then AZEMOUR reveals its full depth in the delicate freshness of neroli, enhanced by geranium, enriched with a honey-sweet orange blossom absolute and an old rose with subtle, spicy notes.
