The brightest star in the constellation of the Great Bear is called "Alioth". It can be seen clearly in the night sky. This wonderful star is four times larger than our sun. Its light radiates into the infinite cosmos and provided the inspiration for this creation.
The Terenzi family can now look back on over 50 years of experience in the distillation and processing of essences and fragrance oils. Raw materials as precious as perfection are destined for the Absolues. The highest standards of craftsmanship in combination with the most exquisite and rare raw materials are the basis for this composition. Alioth opens with the legendary aroma of rare spices that have been stored in the Terenzi fragrance library for decades. Sardinian saffron, the world's finest saffron, is the first to make its presence felt, followed by a contrast of fresh black and green pepper, sweetened by a hint of cardamom. At the heart of the fragrance pulsates luminously an essence matured in wisdom in much tranquility over more than fifty years, the "Assoluto di Rosa Bulgara". It takes 1,000 petals of the wonderful flower to produce just one drop of this nectar. The essence is considered one of the most powerful aphrodisiacs in the world. Here, it is wrapped in the sensual vibrations of ylang-ylang and supported by the mysterious power of cypriole oil. This opulent and sensual heart arises from a base of precious Indian and Cambodian oud, blended with Madagascar vanilla, accented by grey amber and musk aged for more than 50 years.
