Bigarade Concentree

Jean-Claude Ellena’s original fragrance, characterized by the lightness, transparency, and freshness of an eau de cologne, is taken to a new dimension here through the addition of a novel bitter orange essence obtained through molecular distillation. The unusually bitter-fresh fragrance is supported in its unique, natural structure by an abundance of citrus notes, a hint of rose, and a woody base featuring hay and cedarwood. Bigarade Concentrée has a more intense scent than Cologne Bigarade and exudes a lasting, natural freshness.

The Perfumer:
Jean-Claude Ellena, who comes from a family of perfumers in Grasse, was initiated into the secrets of the art of perfumery as a teenager. The self-taught perfumer describes his creations as “poems of memory.” Everything that has a scent—polished floors, clean sheets, skin, a favorite cardigan—is a source of inspiration for him. Although Jean-Claude Ellena never raises his voice, he makes himself perfectly understood through his simple, minimalist, and modern signature. His style is often compared to watercolors or chamber music.
