Intoxicating notes of rum pave the way like a striking blow. An ethereal journey to a distant time, into the imaginary, dark recesses of the mind. The heart of the fragrance is enveloping—much like skin wrapping around the old journals of writers—with a warm breath of spices and birch, while an elegant, dark leather accord guards a delicate floral scent. It is here, in this moment of the night, that notes of ink evoke the poets who have shaped my life: Hölderlin, Rilke, Celan, Strindberg, Dostoevsky.
