The little song tells of the metamorphosis of time, moving ceaselessly through our lives. A perfume that speaks of my solitude and my intimate sense of time—time that flows and transforms things. A little song tells of the past. How does one recognize the passing of time? How does one find the scent of metamorphosis? In the initial vibration of its citrusy and spicy notes, I hear hope. "Little Song" is a melody repeated endlessly; it is a cup of coffee sitting alone on the table in my studio—the aroma of its dregs, intense and aromatic—where I began to remember. The little song is a bouquet of roses held in my hand. I sought depth within the rose; I sought the poetry of its petals as they slowly dry, taking on a deep, dusty quality.
