With amaretto notes and citrusy notes of mandarin leaves, perfumer Emilie Coppermann celebrates the contrast between Italian convivial tradition and the absolute modernity of the neighborhood that is home to the tallest skyscrapers in Italy and Stefano Boeri's Vertical Forest. The luminosity of bergamot from Calabria appears with neroli, the olfactory depth of heliotrope is softened by the sweetness of the base notes (vanilla, benzoin).
"Porta Nuova may look like a modern architectural square, full of conviviality, where people of all ages meet after work to shop or have an aperitif. I wanted to translate this relaxed, warm atmosphere into a fragrance. I also enhanced the softness of this note with a sensual, ambery background. The composition is absolutely addictive and Italian." - Emilie Coppermann, perfumer
